Our Team
Edison Mbemngong
Edison is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who takes a warm, holistic, and patient-centered approach to care. He believes healing starts when clients feel safe, understood, and supported—and he creates that environment in every session.
Edison provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management services. He carefully assesses each client’s needs, prescribes medications when appropriate, and monitors progress closely to ensure treatment plans are safe, effective, and tailored to the individual. His goal is always to make medication simple and collaborative—not overwhelming—so clients feel informed and confident in their care.
In addition to prescribing and managing medications, Edison integrates psychotherapy, lifestyle interventions, and evidence-based approaches into treatment. He frequently uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients reshape unhelpful thought patterns and build healthier coping strategies for long-term improvement.
He works with individuals across the lifespan—including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults—and treats a wide range of concerns such as:
Anxiety disorders and panic attacks
Depression and mood disorders
Bipolar disorder
Schizophrenia
PTSD and trauma-related conditions
ADHD and focus challenges
Substance use and co-occurring disorders
Edison’s style is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and compassionate. He values open communication and involves clients in every step of their treatment plan—whether that means adjusting medications, exploring therapy, or combining both for the best results.
For those seeking psychiatric evaluation, prescription services, and medication management alongside supportive therapy, Edison offers a trusted, professional, and approachable partnership in care.
